The St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School soccer program focuses on the development of players as individuals within the framework of the team.  Our main philosophy is to teach children the game of soccer, emphasizing skills, knowledge of rules and teamwork, while promoting good sportsmanship and fun!  

 Understanding that the majority of our children may not have the opportunity to participate in a team environment beyond this league, we ask that all coaches emphasize the benefits of teamwork.  The lessons that are taught on the field will be carried long after the season is over.We as coaches, must instill the values of respect, the enjoyment of honest competition, and the ability to win or lose with equal grace.
 

All students who wish to play soccer in grades 4 and under are playing with the YMCA.  This is the first year of our association with their leagues.
